What's the difference between a trinket and a treasure?  The difference is the story behind it.  What trinkets do you have around you that are really treasure tools for loving God and others?

We talk a lot about Christ caring for us, and well we should!  But is there a biblical sense in which we are caring for Christ by how we live our days and how we interact with other image bearers of God?

It's a myth that life is one straight line that keeps getting better and better.  It's more of a mess with ups and downs that are often unpredictable.  What are some truths that we can hang onto when we are riding the highs and lows of our days?

Fall is upon us.  The days are shorter, the nights are longer and the rains are coming.  But God's light doesn't diminish or disappear when the weather is gloomy.  God's light still shines through us as we are basking in the SON. 

Believers would feel less isolated and alone if we would realize we are part of something much bigger than our own congregation, denomination or even generation.  We would do well to take another look at, THE CLOUD!

We have bought into the lie that life must be EITHER bad or good; that we must be happy or sad.  But what if it's not either/or but both/and?  Is it possible to be authentically Eeyore AND Tigger too?

It's easy to deceive ourselves into thinking that true faithfulness is seen in the giants of the faith who did epic things for God.  But that's not so.  Faithfulness can be seen all around us, if we have eyes to see.  Today's episode is just one example.  What examples would you give?

It's easy to just assume we have to live with and accept all the noise in our lives.  But what if there were some practical things we could do to turn down the volume on life and actually welcome silence instead?

NOISE!  It's coming at us constantly and it's NOT healthy for our souls.  We can do something about that.  We can seek out and intentionally factor in silence to our day and feel the peace of God that comes in those holy moments.  

Most of the thousands of little decisions we make each day are relatively unimportant in the grand scheme of things.  BUT some decisions are WHOPPERS and they impact us and all others around us for years to come.  What are some good things to consider when making those DIFFICULT decisions?
