Word!  They make or break relationships.  They reveal the heart.  They are as powerful as fire.  What can a scarecrow teach us about our words?  Listen in!

Friends, true friends, are hard to come by.  When we have them, we should prize them, cherish them and thank them.  Who are your marble jar friends?

If you asked random people on the street, what would be the first word they would use to describe God?  Mean?  Judgmental?  Angry? Love? Truth?  Well, God describes himself to Moses and we should pay attention to the first thing he says about himself.

Life can start spinning faster and faster causing us not to be able to focus or hold on.  But the ride we experience is different IF we are living from the CENTER not the RIM.  Find your peace in living from the center.

Are you wishing for things to be said or done that never will be?  Are you stuck in your past because of hurts given to you intentionally or unintentionally?  Maybe it's time to let go!

We have privatized Christianity in places and ways that ignore the community Christ came to create.  This episode looks at one part of worship that has become fiercely individualistic.  

When you go to a theatre or ballgame, certain people have tickets for the very front seats, closet to the action.  It's an honored, coveted spot.  Who has that kind of close access to the action of your life?  Do you monitor the aisle or just let anybody sit there?

It's easy to feel discouraged and sad, to focus on the bad.  But are there those small, simple pleasures of life that bring you joy and help put the panic into perspective?  What's on your "favorite things" list?

We all get impatient with God sometimes.  His timing is not always ours and we don't like to wait.  We might want to hurry him along a bit.  But the Bible describes God's Spirit like a wind.  We don't control nor can we always predict the wind.  Maybe we'd find greater peace if we stopped shaking the tree, and started watching for the wind.

We use the word "love" is such slippery ways, that communicate our affection for pizza and people.  The Bible has a word for love that is at the very heart of God's character and it's about a love that lasts.  Let's love like that!
