The 2 Greatest

Much of our thinking about God comes from those God loving, Bible studying, careful writing scholars who help us understand the greatness of the God we worship.  Today's episode is a tribute to the life and memory of one such servant of the Lord.

There's something about sitting around a table with friends and family and engaging in a good old card game.  But does something as simple and ordinary as playing cards have anything to teach us about life and God?  Listen in.

Loving is way easier when life is way easier.  But how do we find God and love God when life is hard?

I love oxymorons.  You know, two words that don't seem to go together:  passive Aggressive, minor crisis, or silent scream.  But what about a ROOTED JOURNEY?  Let's explore how that seeming oxymoron brilliantly describes our life with God.

We talk a lot about believing IN Jesus.  That's great!  But let's dig deeper.  Not only do we believe IN Jesus, but do we believe IN what Jesus believed IN?  

When you get together with family, you tell the family stories.  Most of the time you already KNOW them, you've HEARD them--dozens of times.  But, as family you tell them again.  What about the family stories of faith?

Who are your "three amigos?"  Do you have friends who know you and still love you?  Do you have those you WANT with you when the going gets hard?  We all need them, and even Jesus had them.  Let's talk today about Amigos!
