Adding or subtracting just ONE person from the room, changing the room.  The question is, how does YOUR presence in a room change the temperature?

If our gospel is simply selfish and individualistic, where we "get saved" and wait for the trumpet, we've missed the call.  Everyone wants to be a part of something bigger, grander than himself or herself.  And IN CHRIST, we are!  WE are the body of Christ on earth today!

All the divisions in Christianity can be discouraging, but in roads of unity without compromising the gospel are happening!  Jesus prayed for unity.  It's up to us to show it!

You can't read the Gospel accounts without being stunned by the way Jesus cares for people...all people, people other people didn't care for at all.  Jesus call us to be caring people too, so what's that look like?

Most people would say they are not critical and they genuinely don't see themselves that way.  This episode gives us some concrete indicators of a critical spirit with which to measure ourselves so we can love God and others better.  Take the test!
