The 2 Greatest

We become like what we focus on.  If our focus is on the problems, the negative, the things that weigh us down--we will, not surprisingly, be weighed down.  But what if we looked BIGGER and BEYOND to what is BETTER?  Are you blocking out the sun?

Words are sooooo powerful.  They can bring both life and death to a person's soul.  And it's easy for us to think the worst and say it.  I prayer God will kill the critical spirit in me, how about you?

We are all a bit weary right now.  The Pandemic lingers, and the end seems like a carrot dangled before us that keeps getting moved just out of reach.  How do we keep on keeping on?  

I bet there have been some very memorable kisses in your life.  But not all kisses are created equal.  Did you know the Bible actually has a lot to say about kisses?  Listen in!

There are events in our lives we are not proud of; things we've done or things done to us that caused us pain at the time.  Some are HUGE and need to be faced and dealt with, some are small.  But ALL are washed in the blood of Jesus.

God is NOT in our hurry.  We want to be changed RIGHT NOW and God transforms us in the everydayness of our lives.  Don't rush God, just keep plodding and he will do the rest.

This is a day to give thanks and really so is every other day as well.  Today let's be a bit more intentional and expressive with our gratitude.  

I grew up watching Andy Griffith.  There's something about that show that speaks to our souls.  It's mythical place, but the values taught there are not.  We can't go back to Mayberry, but maybe we can bring a little Mayberry to our world today.

My favorite part of any wedding is not the music, the dress, or even the kiss---it's the VOWS!  That's where the rubber mets the road.  Those are the promises that seal the deal!  There are several places in scripture where we find wedding like vows from God to his people and they should brighten our souls.
