Today we offer a very simple, practical and transformative practice of encountering God in His written Word.  In fact, it's the meditation of Kings!

At times we read about Jesus interacting with people and we wonder, why did he do it THAT way?  Well, what if he did it that way to BLOW UP RELIGION?

I hope we all have a story in our life that just looks like Jesus.  Katharine Hepburn had one.  We can live our lives in such a way that others will have a story like this based on our acts of love.

We all want to escape from time to time.  Some want to escape forever.  The rhythm of faith calls for retreat to renew, but then returen to re-engage.  What do you do when your heart cries out "Calgon, Take Me Away?"

It's GREAT to strongly support a cause!  It's SAD when the passion for the cause (even when it's for Christ) causes us to speak and act in ways that dishonors the very one we're trying to support.

Our loyalty and allegiance is to Jesus, never to a worldly institution who promises power with a little compromise of the Gospel.  Let's be careful who butters our bread!

If you label people you can stop loving people.  At least that's what we tell ourselves.  But people are way more complicated than being all bad or all good.  One secret to loving others better is to not paint with too broad a brush.

Because life is so interrupted right now and we are WAY out of our normal routines with restrictions all around; it's easy to let the days roll on in a blur.  But this is GOD's day, NOT blursday!

We all need inspirational stories of real people who have been changed by the Good News and are now helping change others with that same Good News.  Today is one of those stories.

It feels awkward when a person is sharing deeply with you something BIG in his or her life and you don't know what to say.  Remember to be a mirror.
