The 2 Greatest

Do you like getting a personal, handwritten, post office delivered letter?  How does that feel different from a quick text or email?  What if we saw ourselves as letters?  God does!

Jesus always intended salvation to be personal, but never private.  There's a reason you're not saved and then go immediately to heaven.  

There are days we will always cherish and remember fondly.  I want to tell you about one of THOSE days for me and explore how we can all have more of them.

Can you "choose" joy?  I don't think so.  But you can make choices in your life that will produce joy.  Say what?  Listen in!

We spend a lot of time intentionally feeding our bodies.  Meals are planned, purchased and prepared.  Many of us are very conscious of what goes into our bodies.  But are we as aware of what we are feeding our minds?

God is God of community and he wants us to be in community too.  I love to be together with brothers and sisters in Christ.  BUT Jesus did give us one instruction, one situation, in which we are to leave church to do something else.

Is it just me, or does it bother you also to see people not paying attention to the glories of God literally right before their eyes.  Some people live life, shades down.  Not us, let's live SHADES UP!

I've come a long way since praying "now I lay me down to sleep."  There's a much better, more all inclusive prayer for us.  It's my favorite, and it might be yours too!

The storms of life WILL come.  The question is what can you do to prepare for them NOW so you won't be shaken THEN.  It all comes down to character.

You and I have watched other people make some really stupid choices.  We convince ourselves we would never do that!  And even if we do "that" we then have a hard time owning up to it.  Well,  God's people have always had that problem.
