What is "the Word of God?"  How do the scriptures and Jesus interact?  Where is the ultimate authority and does it matter?

We live our one precious lives with great haste.  Often we are trying to win races that are not ours to win and the expense of more precious things.  In a race you can't win, just slow it down!

To what or whom do you turn when you're feeling lonely, stressed, scared, or needy?  Do you have a deep sense that God is with you in the darkness, or do you tend to return to more familiar gods?

People are creating their own narrative of who they think God should be.  Then, when he doesn't live up to the script they've written, they write God off.  Well, God is not the cosmic candy man.

We all trust, but we don't all or always trust in what is ultimately trustworthy!  Sometimes we put our trust in things that fail, hurt, and rob from us the very safety and health we were seeking.  Maybe it's time to stop trusting in dumb things.

Do you ever find yourself watching someone suffering and you really want to try either to FIX it or if you can't fix it, at least you could EXPLAIN it?  When it comes to suffering, let's just admit, God only knows.

We are all familiar with "To-Do" lists.  They're great!  But is God asking you to put anything on your "Do NOT Do" list?

Did Jesus give us permission to write people off after we've tried our best to reconcile with them?  Some think so and they think there is a Bible verse for that! Let's look deeper.

There are lots of different and creative ways to think about our "walk" with God (pun intended).  How about shoes?!

In our consumeristic society people "judge" congregations as they would a new car.  There is a way better approach.  There is a much more healthy, Godly way to find a good church.
