The 2 Greatest

The "where is God?" question....we've all asked it and been asked it.  The answer to it comes to us clearly in the story of Joe's life.  It's our story too.

What's the greatest insult you've ever received?  Churches and Pastors get them too.  Today I'll tell you about the greatest one I've ever gotten.

Today we stop to give thanks to God for one year of T2G.  What a year it's been.  God has been faithful.  Praise His Holy Name!

Don't you just love a creative billboard?  I do.  But sometimes the message misses; it's off or off-putting.  Let's make sure the billboards of our lives communicates the love of God we want them too.

When bad things, hard things, unfair things happed to us, it's only natural to ask "WHY?"  But what if we learned to ask why differently?

Some of my most embarrassing moments have been when I've too quickly responded to something.  It was a knee-jerk reaction like when the doctor taps the rubber hammer on your knee and and your knee jumps.  Jesus never knee jerked and people were drawn to him because of it.

Words matter!  When Paul uses a word SIX times in ONE verse, there's a reason for that.  When it comes to your thought life, WHATEVER are YOU thinking on?

All of us have writers who become mentors for us.  Their work helps us know God deeper and love others fuller.  Dr. Larry Crab was one of those precious people for me.

When you're having trouble seeing and you get your first pair of glasses, it changes your world.  When you and I finally and forever begin to see the world through the lens of Jesus, the change is even more dramatic and life altering!  

Our decisions today can't change the past; but our decisions today can give us a better tomorrow.  There are some actions you could take right now.  If you started them today, your future self would be happier, healthier and more like Jesus!
