When you are tasked with arranging the sitting at an important event, how do you decide who sits by who?  And who sits by YOU?

How can you tell if someone likes what you cook?  If they EAT it, not nibble it!

This episode encourages us to SLOW DOWN.  Pause in the in-between.  Don't rush from one task to the next.  And here are some ideas to help us practice Statio and find God's peace.

Advent has been a time of waiting.  And yesterday we celebrated that Christ as come.....BUT we're not finished waiting because we're still in the muddled middle.

I've been in a few delivery rooms in my time.  They are always packed with pain and potential.  They can be full of anticipation and anxiety.  Thank God for the delivery room of Christmas!

Fear not!  Well, that's easier said than done!  Maybe that's why we hear it so often in scripture.  What fears are you harboring this Christmas?

Sometimes you give a gift or get a gift but it's not for now, it's for later, even MUCH later.  It's important, valuable, but delayed in its full meaning.  The original Christmas story has three of those for us to consider.

What do you do with Santa?  How does he fit into the Christmas story, or does he?  Let's consider Santa's tomb.

The mask debate is ramping up again.  But regardless of what you think about wearing masks, we can all give thanks for Christmas, the day God took the mask off!

Would Christmas still go on in America if Jesus were completely removed from it.  Absolutely...it's true already.  Followers of the Christ child have to be intentional NOT to be simply sucked into cultural Christmas.
