The words "commandment" and "blessing" aren't usually thought of together--but when it comes to the Apple Pie Commandment--they should be!

You gotta walk before ya run, right?  Instead of worrying about running, just focus on walking--God is with you!

We are storied people.  Our stories have informed who we are, how we see the world and how we live in the world.  But we better make sure the story we are living into is good, beautiful and TRUE!

Sometimes being invisible would come in handy.  But the hard truth is that what we really want is to be seen, known and loved; but instead we feel invisible.

We are all leaving a legacy.  It's not an option.  The only question is WHAT KIND of legacy are we leaving.  That legacy is affected by every moment and every decision and every word.  Let's built it well!

There are the fools and the wise around us and in us as we look in the mirror.  What does it take to become "wise?"  Well, it's not downloadable!

What SHOCKS you?  And is that good or bad?  My fear is that God's grace has become so familiar we have stopped being shocked by just how radical and redeeming it truly is.

Being pregnant is more than physical.  We can be pregnant in other ways.  We can go through the process of pregnancy and give birth to something full of life and love that will bless the world!
