Pride is one of the 7 deadly sins for a reason.  Today a great example on someone who had every reason in the world to be prideful, but instead, kept pointing to Jesus.

A lot of confusion and hurt in communication can be avoided if we ask the other person if he or she wants us to be a trashcan or a repairman.

Are you afraid of snakes?  What if the snake had its head cut off?  The old snake is really dead, it just doesn't know it yet!

Jesus said he came to what?  Answer:  SERVE.  And we are to be LIKE him.  Maybe a transportation example can help us.

Social media can be used as a wonderful tool or a vicious weapon.  It's important to represent Jesus well in that space.  Today, 7 commitments to make before you post.

There is much value in prayer.  It's not only communication with God, but it's also spiritual formation for us.  Jesus gave us a prayer that can form us by reminding us who we are, where we belong, what we're about and where we're going.  Let's find ourselves in the Lord's Prayer.

We are all dream chasers.  That's not a bad thing, use it removes all focus from the joy of the journey now.

Is life pointless, meaningless, vanity as the Teacher in Ecclesiastes seems to say?  Or is it possible there's a different, better lesson for us?

If we have eyes to see, nature itself can teach us about God's intentions for his people.  Where is our community bath?
