The 2 Greatest

People know when they are loved and when others are only pretending to love them.  And the pain of being loved less is too often part of our life-long burden.  May God heal our wounds when someone else was loved more.

We love hanging with people who think, act, vote, dress, etc. like we do.  But life is very messy and we don't always have that option (nor should we).  Instead we have to deal with our "ites!"

Have you ever been disciplined? YES!  But have you ever been disciplined BY GOD?  If so, what was it like and what was the purpose--condemnation or correction?

Aren't we kind of proud of ourselves when we can list off all the things we are busy with?  It makes us feel important.  But what's the motivation behind our busyness?  How does that differ from hurriedness? 

Lots of folks can nap and love it.  But it takes FAITH to nap in a storm.  

I love questions.  But question that are the right ones, at the right time, to the right person are best.  I think evangelical Christians are asking the wrong question.

Have you ever felt led by God to do something, say something, or give something.  The wonderful truth is God doesn't NEED us, he INVITES us to be a part of what he's doing in the world. Who will you respond, when the heart prompts?

There are some songs that draw us like a magnet to something good, beautiful and true.  That's the HOME SONG.

It's so hard to remain PRESENT in the PRESENT.  We are either future tripping into a world not yet to be or we are stuck in the mud of yesterday.  Are you living in the past?

Glasses help us see.  BUT if we are wearing the wrong prescription the word will be distorted and blurry to us.  We all wear glasses, let's make sure they are the right ones.
