The 2 Greatest

Some medicines are soul, bitter, hard to swallow and downright unpleasant.  But there is a medicine scripture talks about that's none of those things.  It's the BEST medicine.

If you would making a list of dirty jobs, what would be on your list?  What about a list of cool jobs?  In Scripture there were these guys who as a pretty cool job and we can have it too!

We can't stop the storms from coming, but can and do prepare for their arrival all day every day.  In your little habits and routines in peace, you are preparing for the times of panic.  Because crisis is an amplifier.

Often I think we ask the wrong questions.  And we ask them in ways that makes it all about US instead of all about the Lord.  Let's stop "asking Jesus into our hearts" and start asking to enter His instead!

Sometimes you can't even tell what they are supposed to be--but you hang them on your refrigerator anyway because they were made and given with love.  God views our imperfect attempts to love the same way.

The words "children" and "questions" go together.  How else will they learn?  Well, we answer their questions not just by what we SAY but also by how we live.

How honest can you be with God?  Do you have to sugar coat it, hold back, make sure you only say polite things to God?  Well, Herman didn't!

We can become disillusioned into things that the way things are right now (good or bad) is the way they always will be.  The more health perspective is to recognize, it won't be like this for long. 

Fishing can be good or bad, depending of a lot of things.  Spiritually it can be good when we are "fishing for men" that is caring for the souls of others.  It can be bad when we are fishing for forgiven sin, ours or others.
