The 2 Greatest

Information overload is real.  It can lead to caring fatigue.  But what if there are many things we were never supposed to know?

We are very very very upset when our latte is late or our favorite team loses.  But are we at least equally if not more upset of the things that should break our hearts?

Let's face it sometimes we come to worship with the church and we've NOT FEELING IT.  So, is it, then, wrong to sing anyway?  Let's talk.

It's a really really big deal to God how we treat those who can't help us back.  You don't have to look very far at all to see hurting people.  How will you treat the bruised and smoldering?

We are usually very aware of our bad habits.  But there are SOME habits we do that we may be mostly obvious to, yet the damage to relationships is just as real.

We label people and groups as ALL good or ALL evil and that's neither fair or true.  Sometimes they're just the good, bad guys!

We often use churchy words but don't fully grasp wha we're saying.  I say, let's know what we mean when we speak.  Amen?

If you're a Lord of the Rings fan, that phrase is easy to recognize.  But what really is PRECIOUS to you and how do you know?

Some of us are real criers.  We cry at most anything touching.  Others of us are more stoic.  But ALL of us can be more empathic to the pain of others around us.  We can all learn to cry like Rachel.

Whatever you might think is your greatest foe, THIS day remembers us, it is defeated.  All that we dread, including death itself, is swallowed up in the glorious victory of the Resurrected Lord.  Thanks be to God--WE HAVE A GRAVE ROBBER!
