Do you talk to yourself?  I bet you do, but is that okay?  YES!  It's more than okay, it's biblical!

We stay, we listen, we sometimes even participate in conversations that are not of the Lord.  We know it but we don't do anything about it.  Let's change that.

If you go to Jerusalem today, there are two primary sites for the cross and the tomb.  Why didn't the early disciples make sure we knew exactly where it was?  The answer is simple and profound.  Listen in. 

In the ancient world there were temples to gods everywhere.  You pick your god and worship.  Easy peasy!  I don't think much has changed.

If I asked you to define "witness" you'd probably say something about sharing your faith.  But do you see our corporate worship as also witness?

It's never a question of WILL you get discouraged, it's always a question of HOW you will handle it WHEN it comes.  Today, a story about discouragement in my life and how I handled it.

It's easier to look good on the outside and not deal with that can't be scene.  Bitterness is a root that can rise up and cause trouble.  How are you doing, battling bitterness?

Have you ever read a book and been disappointed in the ending?  What about a Bible book?

Being overly concerned about the future gets us into trouble.  We can be ANXIOUS and WORRY about what MIGHT come and miss the moment.  And we can find our joy in the plans we have for down the road and miss the joy right in front of us now.  

I love a great story and the story of Jesus is the greatest of all. AND it's TRUE.  I'm so thankful we don't just have ONE account but FOUR.  Dig in!
