The 2 Greatest

We all use slang--words or phrases that are informal and have meaning to those who are on the inside and know the language?  Is it possible that our Christian slang might be a barrier to love?

I'm RIGHT and you're WRONG!  Is it more important to get THAT message across OR to get across the message that communicates, we don't agress, but I sure do LOVE YOU?

Being a grown up means there are things we don't want to do but we do anyway.  Being a Christian means all that and more.  What is it you know God wants you to do, but you don't want to do it?  Do It Anyway.

Sometimes we talk about the need to deal with the elephant in the room, meaning an uncomfortable topic we ALL know exists but don't want to acknowledge.  BUT what about the gorilla in the room we don't even see?

How do you define success?  Is your life a "success?"  Let's make sure we don't get to the end of our journey and realize we've succeed at the WRONG things.

I bet you haven't had many people encouraging you to suck, have you?  But today, when it comes to the Lord and His Word, I want us to SUCK, Don't Crunch!

Time is NOT the same as TIMING.  If we're going to love like Jesus, it's best we learn the difference.

We all have blindspots.  Areas of our lives that are hurting us and hindering us from loving God, others and ourselves well.  Thank God for people who speak truth in love into our lives so we can name it to tame it.

Do you like to look in the mirror?  Some people do, I mean they REALLY do!  For others mirrors are a necessity not a pleasure.  But which mirror most accurately reflects the real you?

Some people get really theologically nervous when you talk about working "with" God or even doing something "for" God.  They are afraid it undermines justification by faith.  That's not the case.  Let's look closer.
