The 2 Greatest

Bitterness is a trap.  If FEELS good for a while to hang on to hurt, all the while it's destroying our souls and our ability to love those around us. 

TRUTH:  We all are annoyed by other people from time to time.
TRUTH:  WE annoy others too.
TRUTH:  As Jesus followers we are not to be WILLFULLY annoying.

Circle back believer!  When God has answered your prayer, circle back.  Tell him THANK YOU.  It will change you.  You will experience THE DOUBLE CURE!

Many people today are rejecting the faith of their childhood and turning their backs on the church and on God.  But deconstruction doesn't have to happen.

It may be pressure, manipulation, coercion or control, but it's not love.  Because love is NOT controlling the outcomes. 

What do you think you have to ADD to love?  What if we understanding that love includes whatever is on your list?  Love is enough.

We've been given SO MUCH by the Lord and He keeps on giving. Our role is not to hoard it, but pass it on!  And it's FUN!

We too often simplify the complexity and the depth of our community of faith with "in and out" "check the box" kind of concepts.  In reality, it was and is, so much more.

We could all use a better prayer life.  Not just in terms of length or our prayers--but WHO is on the list in the first place.  Do you pray for your politicians?

Big, living changing, world shaking conversations have taken place over a meal.  Politicians, powerful people and ordinary folks like us can love well when we take care of the little things.
