The 2 Greatest

Our faces can reveal so much about what we're thinking.  Sometimes, even in hard times, someone can give us THAT KNOWING SMILE!

We are usually NOT good at waiting.  Yet in the waiting God is working, even if we can't see it, hear it or experience it.  May we learn to savor silent Saturday.

There are life crushing moments that suck the very breath out of all of us.  We see one of those moments as we take notice of those standing around the cross of Jesus.

We all love cozy word pictures.  I don't know your view of God.  But can you see him drawing you UNDER HIS WINGS?

It's so much easier to understand and appreciate virtually ANYTHING IF you know the background.  That's never MORE true than with Holy Scripture.

Command vs. Culture, NOW vs. THEN, ONE time vs. ALL time.  How do we know what God expects of us and what are not written for us?

Thank the Lord for the Bible.  BUT the Bible has been so misused and abused by well meaning God lovers who haven't taken the time to dive into the background so than can comprehend its proper meaning.

We aren't told WHEN Jesus will return, but we are told the world is going to continue to get worse. And Paul gives us some signs to look for.

I didn't say start acting like you ARE God, but certainly start acting LIKE God.  How?  Who?  Start and finish with Jesus!

I'm so glad sadness, heartbreak and heart ache don't get the last word.  Jesus' life, death and resurrection made sure of that.  Thanks be to God!
