Anyone can be a hero. Do you believe that? Even you? Being a hero involves taking a stand, big or small, from a life of integrity, for someone else, even if it costs you. Here's one ordinary hero you can I can choose to admire, and imitate!
There are some messages we both GET and GIVE again and again. They are repeated for a reason. They are important. What message does God give us on repeat?
Life is MESSY! Jesus knew it and entered right in FOR us! And now we are called to enter the messiness of others' lives for his sake. Be a napkin!
Rhythms! Rhythms are important in big things like planet rotation around the sun and small things such as breathing! But what about the rhythm of the church as the inhale and exhale of God?
I had a conversation with a brother about making sure he did what he was given to do for as long as God gives him to do it. Then make sure someone else can pick up the torch. What are you doing to finish strong and pass it on?
There is at least one sin we wink at, think is cute, and excuse on almost every level. We think it's "normal" and okay--all the while it is stealing our God trusting joy.
Is it good to try to do more than one thing at a time? Sometimes we can't help it--but need to be careful we don't invite it.
We all deal with clutter! That's one job that's never done. When we take the time to DEclutter--good things happen! We feel joy, life, and peace. But what about decluttering our minds? That kind of decluttering is even more important than the pile of papers in the corner.
