What do we do when we strongly disagree with someone about how fast and how far we should open the country back up?  How much grace can you extend to those who don't tick like you tick?

The gifts are God are not meant to be put in a drawer and left unused.  He gave you gifts to bless, not bury.  Is there something you need to pull out, dust off and put to use in the God's service?

We want to think the world is more predictable than it is and the unpredictability causes us angst.  We all need a T-shirt that reads "I am NOT God."  Instead, what peace we can have if we see our job as simply "showing up for life" and letting our Good Father direct our days. 

If you've ever watched the same movie more than once, you can never experience it the same as the first time.  Why?  You know too much!  You know how the tense scenes turn out and how the story ends.  What if we took comfort in the story of God?  We know how it ends, so that should change how we live our stories today.

Sometimes we rob ourselves of joy because we fear it will be stolen from us.  Let yourself experience the joy God gives; it's His gift to YOU!

We could all use a little help with our prayer life. Sometimes an oldie but a goodie can actually be just the thing to enliven, focus and be a structure for own prayers to grow on.

There are people unknown to the world whom God has used to make you the person you are today.  They are your Roman 16 people; just a list of names to others, but to you--precious people of God.  Give thanks to God for them BY NAME today!

One of the greatest and hardest ways to love God and others is to JUST LISTEN.  When we listen well, we love well.  When we ask good questions and stop talking long enough to actively engage with the other person's response, we communicate the care of Christ.

How you feel about something doesn't come from the event; it comes from the STORY you tell yourself ABOUT the event.  When you're in the dark, don't rewrite the story, remember the LIGHT.

How unsettling it has been to not be able to count on things you could always count on.  Today we remind ourselves of one truth that can be counted on forever because it is grounded in God, not the world.  Take heart in what you CAN count on!
