The 2 Greatest

For most of us, our feet are not the best part of our bodies.  But what if I told you the Bible thinks your feet are not just tolerable, but BEAUTIFUL?  What does it mean to have "beautiful feet?"  How is that even possible?  Just what kind of pious pedicure is God talking about?  Listen in!

When we decide to believe the message someone gives us; it is because we also have decided to trust the one doing the telling. The doctor, the financial advisor, or the teacher must be someone we believe before we believe what they are saying.  Likewise, we communicate our faith by our whole LIFE not just the carefully chosen words that cross our LIPS.  

If you were making a list of what you look for in a church, what would be on that list?  How do you think your list would compare to what God is looking for from his people?  Maybe it's a good time to rethink what church has become and reset it to be the beacon of light God intended all along.  Is your church life more about ME or THEE?

How much time to you spend worrying about water?  Probably not much.  In other parts of the world, water is precious, scarce, and valued.  Jesus used the image of "living water" to illustrate the powerful witness and magnetic pull of a believer's life to the world.  That means you and me!

There are no "3 keys" or "5 easy steps" to Christlike transformation. It's more of a "long obedience in the same direction together" as Eugene Peterson wrote.  This is good news!
