The 2 Greatest

There are reminders of the staying power of love all around us if we only have eyes to see.  One new visual reminder for me comes in a coffee mug.

We may feel thankful but no one knows it because we keep it to ourselves.  But THANKS IS SOMETHING YOU GIVE, not just feel inside.  AND it's best to give it--on the spot, in the moment--not wait until later when it might not be given at all.

When is the best time to love?  NOW!  Each moment offers the opportunity to partner with God in expressing his care and concern for the people around you.  Love the one you're with!

We live in a VERY distracted world.  Our technology and the fast pace of information all around us keeps us that way.  But we can make a choice, a commitment, to BE WHERE WE ARE in this new year.  It could be life changing for us and for those we love.

What we think about and how we use our bodies is a BIG deal.  The culture around us has used the human body in all kinds of unhealthy ways.  But God wants our bodies to be the primary way we express love for God and others.

There is something in us that deeply wants the last word.  We can't seem to just let something go without saying more.  Well, what if you realize you already have the last word?

We've all been in scary, unknown situations.  In those times, it's always comforting to have a trusted guide who knowns what to do and says to us: "Stay Close."  But then it's up to us to do it!

Today's episode is my 2nd conversation with my son, Pastor Mark Knight.  I get his perspective on what 2020 has taught us as a church and how he believes this is changing us in 2021.

I'm so glad God has an endless supply of mercy for those who seek it.  God is eager to give us do-overs.  AND every day--not just every year but every day his mercies are NEW--so give yourself a little mercy today!

It's exciting to note that you and I will get to see things, do things, and engage with people in ways that will never ever come again.  Like snowflakes and fingerprints, each day is special. We need to CARPE DIEM!
