The 2 Greatest

Some people can make what they do look so easy.  What we often miss are the hours and weeks, months and years of time it took to get there!  Don't buy into the myth of proficiency.

We often THINK we can see everything that's going on and we act on that limited knowledge.  But often it's wrong, or it's partial and if we had more information, it would change everything.  Let's learn to talk tentative in tough situations.

Image management is a constant struggle for all of us.  Even when we think we're being totally genuine, we probably aren't.  How can we escape the need to worry over the edited and shiny parts?

Why do we pray, confess, or get baptized?  We know none of those acts earns us any brownie points with God, so what's the point?  

The Bible is big on you and I having eyes to see and ears to hear.  I wonder how many times we miss the hand of God all around us because we aren't looking for it?

Sometimes are are small details in the Gospel story that we read right past or never notice.  Maybe those tiny details don't really make a difference; but maybe they give us even greater insight into the God we love, who loves us back!

Words matter and often the FIRST words out of someone's mouth can be the most revealing of what's on his or her heart.  What about God's first (recorded) words?  What do they tell us?

We feel angry and we want to get over it, stop it, and get beyond it.  But what if our anger is trying to tell us something?  What if anger is a gift from God to give us information that we need about what's going on in us and around us?

Is it possible one reason God told us not to make any images of himself is because he's already done it?  AND THEY ARE EVERYWHERE!

Can Christians every complain?  Are we just to be door mats to everyone about everything?  Is there a way to "complain" in love?  Let's dive deeper.
