The 2 Greatest

People are constantly trying to tell you who you are but there is only one opinion that counts and one voice we need to listen to.  He knows you completely and loves you unconditionally.  Let His opinion of you prevail!

Jesus told us if we love only those who love us we are no different than others.  What causes Jesus followers to stand out is when we love the unlikely, just as he did.

People say it all the time.  "You know, everything happens for a reason?"  Is that true?  Where's the Bible support for that?  

If there's one verse every non-believer knows it's the one that says "Judge Not?"  But what's it mean?  Is there more to that story? Did Jesus really tell us not to judge?  How is that even possible?  Listen in!

We all seek God's will, but how specific is it?  Is it really hard to find?  And is there a difference between God knowing and God willing.  Maybe you're frustrated because you're seeking the wrong thing.

If I bring up my children "right" doesn't that mean, guarantee actually, that they will follow Jesus?  Am I to blame for my children's decision to walk away from the church and the faith?

We've all heard the phrase "forgive and forget" but it's it Biblical?  Is it possible?  The answer is no and no and that's good news.  

When the Gospel is mislabeled to be a "god in a bottle" to make us happy at every turn it's quickly rejected and rightly so because that's not the gospel at all.

We are to be truth tellers AND we are to tell that truth in love and gentleness.  Let's not hide behind the line "I'm just being honest" so we can also be mean.

Christians are GREAT at information but not so great at TRANSFORMATION and that obvious defect causes the watching world to turn away, uninterested.  That can change and there's a simply practice that can help us do it!  Listen in.
