The 2 Greatest

Deflection, blame shifting, excuses, and denials are the order of the day.  We will only truly and fully be free when we can look at our own mistakes and say "I Own That!"

The world wants to tell you who you are.  They base your worth and value on things like money, position, looks, power and more.  That's NOT the source of your worth.  Let's hear again this children's song and embrace our true identity.

We humans are SUPPOSED to get excited in life.  There should be times when you can't help but be a bit like Tigger!  What excites you?

There are some people in whose presence you just naturally relax.  You're free to not manage your glittering image, you can feel at home.  Is that your experience with Jesus?

Are you an optimist or a pessimist?  It's hard to believe that good is coming when the news seems to be one negative story after another.  But our knowledge or and experience with Jesus can change all that.  Listen in.

Atheism gets a lot of press these days.  What doesn't get talked about are the atheists who are beginning to doubt their doubts by examining the universe we live in.

We all talk to ourselves.  It may or may not be verbal, but we all have narratives going on constantly in our heads.  Do your stories line up with what God says about you and the world?

We all notice faults, mistakes, and imperfections; probably more in others than in ourselves.  But there's a difference between noticing things that are not perfect and actively seeking them out.  

It's easy to feel alone and lost.  The Lord wants you to know you are in partnership with others who are accomplishing his work and his work will prevail.  

Let's all be honest, Habakkuk is not on our top 50 favorite books of the Bible.  BUT there are things here to help us with OUR world in chaos as we see how Habakkuk dealt with his.
