The 2 Greatest

In a divisive world of us vs. them, we need more odd couples.  More please willing to try to love and befriend those who are different than they are.  How about you?  Are you in?

We've all seen them, the guys standing on the corner shouting at the people walking by.  They think they are sharing Jesus, but often they don't sound like Jesus at all.  Let me tell you about a different kind of street preach I encountered.

Having gross words come at you can be a lot like being hit with rotten fruit.  The contents of our heart, whether pure or putrid, comes out in the fruit of our lips.  

We all wrestle with evil.  Why do bad things happen to good people?  It's easy to blame God and then deny him.  But is our blame misplaced?

Faith is ultimately living what we believe.  We all show who or what we TRULY worship by the way we live out our days.  Christians ought to be the shinning showcase that a different God makes a different YOU!

When people think of you, don't you want them to view you as an encouraging person? Today some specific, rubber meets the road ways we can be an encouragement to others.  

It's amazing how easy it is to THINK we are building up and being encouraging when actually we are doing the opposite.  This episode looks at three fake substitutes for encouragement.

Do you consider yourself a cheerleader?  I don't mean the official kind at sporting events; I mean the daily kind at all events.  Are you the person with true encouraging words that help others have confidence to move through their day with joy?

Can you keep a confidence?  When you are looking for a true friend, I bet his or her ability to keep your secrets ranks high on the qualifications list.  Today let's talk about loving by keeping a confidence.
