The 2 Greatest

It's so important to choose people to look up to and imitate.  We need to find and also be a mentor.  It matters!

Are you an introvert or an extrovert?  It's hard for those of us who like our alone time and are not as comfortable meeting strangers to lean in; but there's power when we do!

We all size people up, make value judgments about others before we ever say a word.  We look at their clothes, their hair, their car and so on.  But what if we looked where the Lord looks?

It's very easy for our minds to go to the gutter.  The gutter could be anger, lust, bitterness, jealousy, greed, you name it.  But it doesn't have to be that way.  We are told in many and varied ways to set our minds on things above.  Today, some encouragement to do just that.

When you're seated you see the room, others, and the world from THAT particular vantage point.  If you were seated somewhere else, everything would look different.  You would have a different point of view.  What if we saw our world from the vantage point of being seated with Christ?

We all struggle to have the TRUTH of our being (who we are in Jesus) match the WAY of our being (how we actually live).  Paul gives us some help.  First it's all about what we are seeking.

Playing hide and seek with little ones is fun.  You have to ask yourself, is the goal to NOT be found to TO BE found?  And what about God, is He playing hide and seek with us?

There are some memories that are too painful to recall.  But try as we might, we DO recall them.  Is there a way they can be bring to the light and see for what they are in the light of God's love?  What if every memory belongs?

When we are getting to know new people we engage in mutual conversations about our lives.  We tell stories.  Those stories come from our memories.  But why THOSE stories and not others?

Memories are powerful, maybe more powerful than you realize.  Our memories have formed us and now inform us on how to live and love in the present.
