The 2 Greatest

There are so many wonderful and beautiful things to see and experience in our world.  But don't stop with the penultimate, because penultimate points to something greater!  Do you see it?

Reading is one of the greatest pleasures of life.  Reading spiritually is one of the most neglected treasures of life.  Let's talk about reading for more than information.

Our culture today is so negative and we all too often enter in; but there is a cost to our souls.  Cynics miss the joy.

It's possible to have great wealth, take fantastic trips, engage in interesting hobbies and still be very much alone.  That's NEVER been the plan of God for us.

I bet you don't give your bellybutton much attention, except maybe to clean some lint out of it now and again.  Yet there are some profound and important lessons we can learn from our bellybuttons.

There's a LOT of pressure on you to be EXCELLENT at something or many many things.  BE A PROFESSIONAL.  I get it. There's a place for that.  But there's also a wonderful place to just be an amateur!

Kissing in church?   What?  Well, 5 times we are told to "greet one another with a holy kiss."  So, what's that look like in our culture, in our generation?

Does your worship of God involve much more than your mind?  We are so "word focused" we miss the many other Godly ways we are to use our bodies in the act of worship.
